This area is difficult to navigate without adequate snow cover due to cobblestones so hope for lots of snow. Call Ken and Barb at 563-6920.

Explore the Sable Highlands on skis or snowshoes. This area was purchased by the Nature Conservancy several years ago. There is a network of logging roads, none too steep, with good views of Lyon & Averill Peaks. We may even find Barnes Pond. Contact Jane & Bill Kelting at 425-3314 if you plan to go.

April 1st
Our annual Sugaring Off Party at the Merrill School House. This year will be a bit different, due to the high cost of syrup we will be asking for a donation of $2 per person. We also plan on holding a 50/50 drawing to help our chapter with some of its expenses. Please let Jane Kelting know if you plan on coming so we know how much syrup to buy. Starting time will be noon & we hope the syrup will be ready to pour on snow by 2pm.
